Kath Long
MSc. Vet Physio (Distinction), Dip Animal Acupuncture, NZ Registered Physio

Kath is a NZ registered physiotherapist who completed her Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy through Liverpool University. She is a registered physiotherapist, physiotherapy acupuncturist and has completed a diploma in animal acupuncture. She is also a clinical educator for Liverpool University PGD Vet Physio programme and continues to assist with teaching at the University of Liverpool residential schools in Australia. She is passionate about pets and their well-being.

At physio4pets we assess, treat and give your pet individualised exercises to help regain function and strength to maximise their quality and enjoyment of life. We liaise closely with your veterinarian to ensure your pet is getting the best treatment.

At physio4pets
we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for pets through physiotherapy. We work closely with you to ensure your pet receives the best possible care. We believe that every pet deserves to live their life to the fullest and we are here to help them achieve that.
We take a personalised approach to each pet's treatment plan. Through thorough assessment we work with you to develop a plan that will help your pet be the best they can be. Our services include manual therapy, physio acupuncture, myofascial release, massage, laser (Class 3B), pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, kinesio-taping, stretching, education and exercise prescription. We believe in empowering pet owners to take an active role in their pet's recovery, and provide education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.

Treatment
Treatments are available at Kath's home clinic (Helensville), VetsNorth clinics (Silverdale, Helensville or Waimauku), or in the comfort of your own home (travel charges will apply).
Your first appointment is 60 minutes and will include a detailed assessment to determine the most appropriate treatment.

It is preferred that the owner is present with their pet.
Please make sure your pet has a collar/halter and a muzzle if needed.
Materials used during treatment may be changed for.
Payment is due on completion of each visit.
Failing to attend an appointment without proper notice could incur a $40 surcharge.

Fees:
Initial Appointment (60 mins) - $130
Follow-up appointment (45 Mins) - $95

​Post surgical rehabilitation, senior wellness and multi visit concession packages are also available.
Please note: most animal insurance policies include cover for physiotherapy however it is the clients responsibility to check the validity of their pets individual policy.

Smartcover finance is available to assist with repayment options which can be tailored to suit your budget.
